It takes a lot of guts to be a Boxer at any time. The profession is filled with danger. Daniel
Bright may have become heavy weight champion of the World, but fate made him another
kind of hero. In this gallery we honour Daniel, Walter (known as Wally) and Cecil Bright
Daniel Bright was due to fight the great Gene Tunney this was an eliminator fight.
If he had won the this fight he would have had a shot at fighting Jack Dempsey for
the Heavyweight Championship!
